Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 1, 2026

Your privacy is critically important to us. At onelinebot, we have a few fundamental principles: we don't ask you for personal information unless we truly need it, and we don't share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so—for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better.

  • Information you provide to us: We collect the information you provide when setting up an account, such as your email address, name, and payment information.
  • Information via Integrations: When you connect third-party integrations (like Google Drive), we securely store the OAuth tokens needed to sync your data.
  • Usage Information: We collect information about your interactions with our Services, such as pages visited, buttons clicked, and chat metadata.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. Specifically, we use your knowledge base data purely to power your specific AI chatbot widget.

3. Security

While no online service is 100% secure, we work very hard to protect information about you against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction.

4. Third-Party Services

We use third-party sub-processors (for example language-model providers, payment processors such as Razorpay, and database or hosting providers such as Supabase) to provide core aspects of our Service. Their privacy practices apply to data they process on our behalf as described in their policies.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and chatbot data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can remove individual chatbots or close your account using the tools in your dashboard. Deletion happens in stages so you can recover from mistakes:

  • Chatbot trash: Deleting a chatbot moves it to trash first. While it is in trash, associated configuration, conversations, and knowledge-base material may still be stored. You can restore it, or permanently delete it after confirming the chatbot name (and, for email-and-password accounts, your password). Items left in trash may be permanently removed automatically after a limited retention period (typically on the order of 30 days, subject to our configuration).
  • Permanent chatbot deletion: After permanent deletion, we remove application data tied to that chatbot from our primary systems (including conversational history, knowledge content and embeddings held in our database, and related analytics where applicable). Some information may persist for a time in encrypted backups or in logs according to our security and operations practices.
  • Account deactivation: You can deactivate your account from Settings. While your account is in the deletion queue, access to most features is limited; you may use Account Recovery to restore the account or proceed with permanent account deletion under the same confirmation rules. Accounts in the deletion queue may be permanently purged after a similar retention window if not restored.
  • Permanent account deletion: Removes your profile and associated application data from our primary database, including data for chatbots you owned, subscription records tied to the account in our systems, and related usage history as implemented in our product. We may take steps to cancel or cease recurring billing with our payment provider where applicable. This does not control retention by banks, card networks, or fraud-prevention systems outside our platform.

6. Access and portability

Verified users can download a machine-readable export of their own data (for example profile, chatbots, conversations, and recent billing and usage summaries as exposed by the export feature) from the dashboard—see Data & deletion or Settings → Security. The export contains information associated with your authenticated account only. Depending on where you live, you may also have statutory rights to access, correct, port, or delete personal data; contact us using the details we provide on the site if you need help beyond the self-service tools.

7. Deletion auditing

We may record minimal technical records of certain deletion or recovery actions (such as what was requested, when, and related security metadata) to protect accounts from abuse and to meet legal or operational requirements. These records are not used for marketing.

8. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle deletion and retention, please contact us using the contact information published on our website.
